Works as a music therapist
Jyotirmayee Nayak used to work as a music therapist before coming to ‘Indian Idol’. She used to sing for cancer patients and tried to give them solace through music. Jyotirmoyee had told that the same patients inspired her to audition for ‘Indian Idol’. His blessings and courage gave him the confidence to fulfill his dream.
Let us tell you, Jyotirmayee is the first contestant from Odisha who has won the trophy of Indian Idol. She won the trophy by defeating finalists Anshika Chonkar, Manraj Veer Singh, Maysmi Bose, Suhail Sufi and Tanishk Shukla.
