Jyotirmayee Nayak used to work as a music therapist before coming to ‘Indian Idol’. She used to sing for cancer patients and tried to give them solace through music. Let us tell you, Jyotirmayee is the first contestant from Odisha who has won the trophy of Indian Idol. She won the trophy by defeating finalists Anshika Chonkar, Manraj Veer Singh, Maysmi Bose, Suhail Sufi and Tanishk Shukla.
