New Delhi: TV actress Raavi Gupta is in the news these days for the second season of her popular show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Raavi, who returned to the popular show after years, narrated her experience of working with actress Smriti Irani. She has said that despite having such huge recognition and long experience, Smriti never shows off her stardom on the set.

Talking to IANS, Ravi Gupta said, ‘Smriti Irani is not only a wonderful actress but also a good person. She has a big identity, but she never lets it affect her behavior. She gives equal importance to everyone on the set and helps in improving the work of every artist. We get to learn something new from him every day. Working with him is always a good experience.

Ravi Gupta said, ‘Whenever Smriti gives any suggestion, I listen to it very carefully, because her suggestions are always to improve the entire scene and the performance of the artist. I have been a part of this show in the first season too and returning to the same world after so many years is like going back to the old days for me. When I played the character of Damini for the first time, the character was very angry. There was a lot of resentment inside him due to the problems he faced in life. But my character has changed a lot with time. Now Damini is a sensible woman and is also the mother of an elder son. Life experiences have made him very wise. I myself am feeling connected to this character, because my own life has also changed with time.

Raavi Gupta said, ‘It was not easy to return to the same character after such a long gap. I was afraid whether the audience would accept my character again or not. In the meantime, this character was also played by another actor, so comparisons are easy. Although, I am confident in my acting ability, these questions definitely came to my mind. Raavi Gupta also thanked producer Ekta Kapoor for giving her another chance in the show. He said that he is extremely grateful for this opportunity. He is happy with the way the audience has accepted him again.
