Mumbai. Popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande, remembering her father, has said that she misses him with every breath. Ankita’s father Shashikant Lokhande died in 2023 after a long illness. Ankita has shared an old picture with her father in her Instagram story. Ankita is with her father in the picture. Ankita wrote in the caption, “I miss you with every breath. When your parents are with you, love them, otherwise trust me, you will only regret later.”
On the work front, Ankita and her husband Vicky Jain are currently seen in the new season of ‘Laughter Chef’s Fun Unlimited’ which stars Arjun Bijlani, Karan Kundra, Elvish Yadav, Jannat Zubair, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmira Shah, Nia Sharma, Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel.

Ankita entered the field of acting with the role of Archana Manav Deshmukh in ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also a part of this show. The show was an adaptation of the Tamil television series ‘Thirumathi Selvam’. After this she was seen in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4’ and ‘Comedy Circus’. She also did two episodes of Ek Thi Naayika.
41-year-old Ankita Lokhande made her film debut in 2018 with Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. This film was based on the life of Rani Laxmibai. Ankita also worked in Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller film Baaghi 3 in 2020. This was the third part of Baaghi. Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh also worked in this film.
In 2020, after the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput, his show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ was shown again. A series named ‘Pavitra Rishta – It’s Never Too Late’ started from September 2021, in which Ankita Lokhande played the role of Archana and Shaheer Sheikh played the role of Manav.
