TV actress Nidhi Shah is known less by her real name but more as Anupama’s Kinjal. But, the actress has recently spoken openly about the problems she is facing due to this popularity.
According to the actress, the popularity gained from TV serials sometimes does not increase opportunities, but rather limits them. In an interview given to India Forum, Nidhi Shah said, ‘Sometimes when you audition or are considered for a character, they think that you are too well-known or famous for that role.’
Talking about this, the actress further said, ‘The casting people say that she has been seen in a special kind of character on TV. That’s why we can’t cast them. We need something different, someone who is experienced and not too famous. So yes, this happens somewhere.

Nidhi also told that the problem with the TV industry is that if you get attached to one character then it becomes difficult to get out of it. Nidhi Shah also said that Anupama has given her an identity and a strong fan base. But a different kind of perception has developed among the casting teams about her that she will not be able to fit into different types of roles.
Let us tell you that Nidhi Shah was associated with the show Anupama from the beginning. But, about one and a half to two years ago he said goodbye to this show. Many reasons were given for Nidhi leaving the show. It was said in many reports that Nidhi left the show due to differences with Rupali Ganguly. Nidhi also accepted this indirectly many times.
