In this honor ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, President Draupadi Murmu honored him and gave him this award. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many big personalities were present in it. Also, Arvind Vaidya’s wife and daughter Vandana also became a part of this felicitation ceremony. When Arvind was called on the stage to give Padma Shri, the happiness of his family was worth seeing.

Arvind Vaidya expressed happiness
Apart from this, Arvind Vaidya said in a conversation with Time of India, ‘I have been working in theatre, TV and films for the last 60 years. I have worked even in the era when there was no TV. There were many ups and downs in life, but the journey was always good. This honor is the biggest achievement for me. I never expected this award. All I wanted was the love of the audience and I always got it in full. I have no complaints with life. My wife, children are good and my friends are also wonderful.
He further said, ‘The producers with whom I worked in theatre, films and TV also became my friends. I cannot live without acting and my wife in my life. It is a great privilege for me to receive Padma Shri and this feeling is very special. For this I first thank God. My gurus Rambhau Joshi and Jaswant Thaker taught and prepared me. My wife, children and friends have contributed to my life. I also express my gratitude to the Government of India.
Career started from 1960
Let us tell you that Arvind Vaidya started his career from theater in the 1960s. After this he worked in many films and TV shows. Also directed more than 200 plays. Being associated with the entertainment industry for so many years and being honored with an award like Padma Shri is no less than a celebration for him and his family.
