Recently, a similar moment was seen on the stage of music reality show ‘Indian Idol’, when music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani shared his feelings while remembering Zubeen Garg.
During the show, Vishal Dadlani, remembering Zubeen Garg, said, “He was really a very special artist.” I have never seen stardom like his. I knew Zubeen Garg since the time I started my career. At that time Zubeen was like an inspiration for me. Sometimes it feels very bad to think that Zubeen is no more in this world. His departure is like a personal loss for us.
Badshah, who was present as a judge on the show, also agreed with Vishal. Badshah said, “If any artist can truly be called ‘Indian Idol’, it is Zubeen Garg.” With his art and his style, Zubeen had created such a place in the hearts of people, which is not easy to forget.
Meanwhile, the show’s contestant Manraj gave a special presentation on the stage. He sang a medley of the famous song ‘Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum’ from the film ‘Aashiqui’ and the popular song ‘Ya Ali’ from the film ‘Gangster’. His presentation made the atmosphere completely emotional.
Vishal Dadlani became very emotional after listening to Manraj’s performance. He said, “Manraj’s voice and style of singing reminded me of Zubeen Garg. The same depth and feeling was felt in his voice, which used to be there in Zubeen Garg’s songs.”
Let us tell you that Zubeen Garg died on 19 September. According to the information, he became a victim of an accident while scuba diving in Singapore. After the accident, Singapore Police pulled him out of the sea and immediately took him to the hospital. He was admitted to the ICU, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved.
