Tejas Movie Review

HighLights

  1. Tejas is a unique aircraft due to its features.
  2. The story and screenplay of the film could have been better.
  3. The film also depicts her love story with eminent singer Ekveer.

Entertainment Desk, Indore. Tejas Film Review: Kangana Ranaut’s most awaited film ‘Tejas’ has been released in theatres. Kangana has also promoted this film a lot. After watching the film, we have also brought its first review for you. Do you know that the biggest feature of Tejas aircraft is that this aircraft attacks ten targets simultaneously while tracking them. Also, it does not require a big runway for takeoff. It can work in all types of weather. Because of these features Tejas is a unique aircraft.

dull screenplay

Actually, in the year 2003, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had named this aircraft. Based on this, this film of Kangana Ranaut has been made. The qualities of the aircraft have been presented well in the film, but somewhere the story and screenplay of the film could have been better. This film has been written by Sarvesh Mewada and he has directed it. The opening shot of the film introduces Wing Commander Tejas Gill. By not following instructions, she risks her life and saves the lives of her companions on the forbidden island. Besides, her love story with famous singer Ekveer is also shown in the film.

Fictional story told in the beginning itself

At the same time, a video of the capture of an Indian agent Prashant by Pakistani terrorists is released. It is Tejas’s ally during Air Force training. He tries to give her some information through gestures. After this Tejas sets out on a mission to save him. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Ekveer and his family have died in an attack on November 26, 2008. The film Gunjan Saxena, released three years ago, was also based on the true incident of an Indian female pilot. In this also the functioning of the Air Force was displayed very well. But Tejas film has been declared a fictional story right from the beginning.

The entire burden is on Kangana’s shoulders.

The first half of the film revolves around Tejas’s personal life. The main message of the story is women empowerment, gender discrimination and patriotism. A lot of work was done on these issues, but the screenplay remained very dull. Tejas takes all the responsibility on herself during the disciplinary action, which is nothing new for the viewers. This has been seen many times in films. At the same time, when Tejas enters the men’s toilet, there should have been a lot of commotion, which was left as a very normal scene. After this the story becomes based on saving Prashant. Tejas is sent on the mission along with his fellow female pilot Aafia.

writing level could have been better

By throwing dust in the eyes of Pakistanis, Tejas succeeds in parking the plane on the runway and taking off. These scenes are quite interesting in the film. The scenes in which Tejas takes on the enemy planes in the sky keep the audience engaged with the story of the film. Not only this, the context of the planned attack on Ram temple in the climax appeared completely childish. From this it was visible that the intelligence agencies could not find out about this. In the story of the film, the entire burden is on Tejas. The story could have been improved at the writing level. Mumbai attacks are also mentioned in the film. That scene has been made quite exciting.

Anshul Chauhan has been the special attraction of the film. Despite being Kangana, she has left no stone unturned to be highlighted. Varun Mitra’s part has not done anything special. The songs and music written are also quite simple. Special effects have also made the film very weak.
