Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and veteran South Indian film star Jyothika are ready to present the audience with a very powerful and serious courtroom drama ‘System’. The trailer of the film has finally been released, revealing the layers of power, privilege and the legal system where the truth is often buried. Produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja and Smita Baliga, the film is scheduled to premiere on May 22 on Prime Video.

The trailer of ‘System’ begins with Neha, played by Sonakshi Sinha, a strong-willed young lawyer trying to prove herself worthy of becoming a partner in her father’s law firm. Her father, played by Ashutosh Gowariker, throws her into a difficult case that could change everything for her professionally.

To strengthen her case, Neha teams up with Sarika, a sharp and smart courtroom stenographer played by Jyotika. But as the trailer progresses, it becomes clear that Sarika may have her own hidden agenda. What follows is an intense ride filled with courtroom confrontations, emotional fights and difficult moments. A dialogue from the trailer immediately catches the attention: “Ameri ke shor mein garib ki awaaz kho giye.”

Talking about the film, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said, “I believe there are countless stories around us, but it is difficult to bring them alive on screen in an original and creative way. I like to challenge myself and that’s why System was created.”

Sonakshi Sinha, who is playing the role of public prosecutor Neha in the film, said that this role took her forward as an actor. She said, “Playing this character has been very rewarding.
