Who was Suman Kalyanpur?
Suman Kalyanpur was born on 28 January 1937 in Bhawanipur, India. He sang more than 800 songs in his career. Not only in Hindi, Suman recorded many songs in Hindi, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani, Bengali, Oriya and Punjabi languages. The singer has been honored with Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
