Rupali Ganguly’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan has revealed that her step daughter Esha Verma has not yet responded to the defamation notice. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Shosha, Sana, who was also a part of Bigg Boss 17, shared important details about the legal battle. He told that even though Isha has deleted the viral social media post, she has not yet responded to the legal notice.

“She (Esha Verma) has not responded, however, she has removed all the offending posts and also deleted one account after receiving our notice, which is an admission of her wrongdoing,” Sana told us. Sana Raees Khan further revealed that it was Rupali who decided to send a defamation notice to Esha after she dragged her 11-year-old son Rudransh. He said, “Rupali took this drastic step after her step daughter maliciously declared her 11-year-old child as illegitimate and the matter escalated with continuous abusive and defamatory posts, thereby defaming Rupali’s character.”

The lawyer further said that it was important to send a notice to 26-year-old Isha and claimed that the allegations made by her were ‘baseless’. “This was necessary, given the fact that she was continuously making defamatory and baseless posts, thereby attacking Rupali’s reputation and character. She crossed all limits by attacking an 11-year-old child and calling her illegitimate.” ,” they shared.
Sana also revealed that the Anupama star is ‘deeply hurt’ by the allegations and said, “The false and malicious allegations made by the step-daughter have caused immense emotional distress and mental anguish to my client. These malicious and baseless allegations have not only Attacked his personal integrity but also tarnished his reputation. Such baseless claims have hurt him deeply.”
Earlier this month, Esha, who is Ashwin Verma’s daughter from his second wife Priyanka Verma, claimed that Rupali broke into their house. She also called Anupama’s lead actress an ‘abusive and poisonous woman’. Later, Rupali also filed a defamation suit of Rs 50 crore against Esha, following which the latter deleted her Instagram post.
