Famous actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is very busy these days in the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’. Today in Mumbai, he had a special conversation with the media, in which he openly expressed his views on many social and political issues. This film is going to be released in theaters this month on 12th June 2026.
While talking to the media, Kangana Ranaut said, “Even today, the uniform of our nurses looks very much like the British era. There should be a change in it and it should be given an Indian look as per the choice of the nurses.”

Concern expressed on respectable profession like nursing
Kangana Ranaut also expressed deep concern over the society’s thinking regarding the profession of nursing. He said, “Our society has sexualized a very respectable and service-oriented profession like nursing. Due to stereotypical thinking and wrong portrayal in films and advertisements, the dignity of this profession is greatly harmed, which is very important to be changed.”
The untold story of the brave nurses of 26/11 attack
Talking about her new film, Kangana said that ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ is an untold story of the bravery of doctors and nurses during the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, which not many people know about. He told that on that dreadful night, when bullets were being fired all around and there was an atmosphere of chaos, the brave nurses of the hospital risked their lives and helped 20 pregnant women in delivery.
Kangana further said that in that difficult time, the entire hospital staff had worked strongly for the country. Even in identifying a dreaded terrorist like Kasab, only a nurse and ‘uncle’ came forward as the main witnesses.

The world should learn from the simplicity of workers
Talking about today’s generation and people’s thinking, Kangana said that people often start living in their own small world. They start believing that ‘the world begins with us and ends with us.’ He said that we should learn from the grassroots workers of the society that how they easily fulfill their big responsibilities with such simplicity and without any show off.
