A new chapter of romance is about to begin in Bollywood. The release date of the film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ directed by director Vivek Soni has been officially announced. The film starring Ananya Pandey and Lakshya in lead roles will hit the theaters on May 22, 2026.The filmmakers shared the news through a post on social media on Monday. It was written in the caption, Here is a love story where… life runs faster than love.

Chand Mera Dil will release in theaters on May 22, 2026. Lakshya and Ananya also shared the posters of the upcoming film on their respective social media handles. Pandey’s most recent film is Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which was released in 2025 and starred her opposite Kartik Aryan. She will now be seen in the second season of Call Me Bay, which will be released on Prime Video. Lakshya had earlier acted in The Bads of Bollywood. It was released in September 2025.

What are the expectations from the film?
‘Chaand Mera Dil’ is being told a love story which reflects the struggle between today’s hectic life and emotions. The title of the film is reminiscent of old songs, but its treatment has been modern and keeping the youth in mind.
