In an interview with Anjumm Sharma, he talks about his journey where he auditioned for the role of Munna in Mirzapur but did not get selected. After this he played a more deep and intense character in Kaptan. He also explains that working in theater with Makrand Deshpande gave a strong foundation to his acting. He also talks about the challenges he faced in Bareilly during the shooting of Kaptan and the success of the show, which was mainly achieved through word-of-mouth and viral content on social media. The death of Munna’s character in the series has been described as a shocking but impactful twist, while discussions about further seasons are still on. Additionally, Anjumm also shared the experience of working on a poetry-based non-fiction show for TVF with Paritosh Tripathi. Going forward, he wants to move away from typecast and move towards playing different types of characters and working on new projects.
