Kunika Sadanand made her Bollywood debut in the 90s and she was engulfed in the industry as soon as she arrived. In the 90s, Kunika’s look was the most talked about, but she has come to either side role or negative role in films. In the film Hum Saath Saath Hain, she played the role of Reema Lagoo’s friend. At the same time, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya became Salman’s stepmother. After these characters, Kunika became famous for a negative character but her journey was not easy. He once revealed that due to the casting couch, many projects came out of his hand.
Kunika had told about an incident in an interview to Siddharth Kannan, after which her heart was broken. He had told that he was fined for a big film but was fired from the project because he refused to compromise.
The producer said this
Kunika said- ‘I went to office to collect a signing amount but they told me that I have replaced because I refused to compromise.’ Kunika told how a female producer used a very poor language and talked to him. Kunika told that the producer told him- ‘I am bringing two hungry lions with me, so I have to put a piece of meat.’ Kunika was shocked to hear those words. Tears came in his eyes.
Kunika had narrated another anecdote of the casting couch that a producer had tried to misbehave in the makeup room. Which he warned at the same time. After that Kunika never worked with that producer.
