He wrote, paying homage, while giving information about the death of Prem Sagar, son of Ramanand Sagar, I am deeply saddened. I pray that their souls get peace and their family should have the power to bear this deep sorrow.

Studied with FTII
Prem Sagar was a big filmmaker and famous cinematographer. He carried forward the legacy of the Sagar family in Indian cinema and television. He studied filmmaking from FTII Pune. He was a 1968 batch student. Prem Sagar had made a strong hold in photography and cinematography through training. He played an important role in making many projects under his father’s production house ‘Sagar Arts’. He was also associated with the construction of Ramanand Sagar’s famous television serial ‘Ramayana’.
