New Delhi: Film and TV show maker Ekta Kapoor is currently in discussion about the 25th anniversary of her show ‘Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. She is now bringing back this iconic show. Ekta Kapoor, meanwhile, told in a long wide post that she did not want to re-launch again.

Ekta wrote on Instagram, “Jab ‘because Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ came to complete and the talk of launching it on TV again was not my first reaction! Of course, not at all! Why do I bring that old memory again? Those who are lost in old memories understand, they understand that they know that they can never be won by those memories.”

Women’s voice

Ekta said, “We remember our childhood and it has been really, there is a difference between the two and will also. The space of TV has also changed a lot. There was a time when our number of audiences was divided into only 9 cities. Today the same number has been divided into many different pieces. Will it spread on different platforms. Will it be able to handle that legacy? Got, will be able to handle it?

The show was suddenly closed
Ekta further said, “It was not just a daily soap. It made issues like domestic exploitation, marital rape, age shaming and euthanasia, made a topic of discussion of Indian dining tables and this was the real legacy of this story. However, people believe that the sudden shutdown of the show had left the incomplete feeling. I asked the team and myself… I asked the team and myself… Will we be able to introduce stories? Can we bring back that round of television? “

Beyond TRP race

“Can we go out of TRP’s race and make effective stories again? Can we reach the audience again and change their views, their attitude? Can we talk about parenting? Can we talk about the balance between care and control? Can we talk on issues that today’s society is hesitant?”

So brought back
“Can we again tell a story of India’s greatest and deepest medium, television again, which touches the heart and keeps the people’s thinking shocked. Who can impress people but also entertain people at the same time? Can we bring the time again where an entire family used to talk on the dinner table? As soon as I asked myself, the answer was in front.”
