This show, which started on July 28, 2008, has till now made a special place in the hearts of the audience. All the cast of the show are special for the audience, however when it comes to Bapuji and Jethalal, everyone loves them a lot. But do you know that Amit Bhatt had his hair cut for 2 years to play the character of Bapuji.
Asit Modi disclosed
Recently, on the completion of 18 years of the show, the makers organized a grand celebration, where the entire team was present in front of the media and they expressed their heartfelt feelings. Meanwhile, Asit Kumar Modi told that actor Amit Bhatt kept getting his hair cut for about 2 years to play the role of Jethalal’s Bapuji. However, later he started wearing a cap to hide his hair.

Dilip liked the role of Bapuji
Regarding the character of Bapuji, Dilip Joshi said that he had the freedom to choose the character of Champaklal and Jethalal. He liked the role of Bapuji, but it required such an actor who could look old and he could not look like that. That is why he chose the character of Jethalal, which became his identity.
Has been doing entertainment for 18 years
Let us tell you that in the beginning of the show, Amit Bhatt was seen without a cap, in which only his white hair on the sides was visible. However, after a few years, he started wearing Gandhi cap, so that his hair could be hidden. His personality came out further in Gandhi cap and everyone loved him a lot. In this 18-year journey of the show, many characters have come and gone, but the happiness of the audience has not diminished even today.
