New Delhi: ‘Indian Idol 16’ has found its winner. Jyotimarya Nayak has won the trophy in a tough competition. A tough competition was seen between Jyotirmayee Nayak and Tanishk Shukla. Manraj Veer Singh was the second runner-up. He received Rs 5 lakh as reward. Manraj Veer Singh was successful in making it to the top 3 along with Tanishq-Jyotirmayee. Sohail Sufi, Anshika Chonkar, Manraj Veer Singh, Missmi Bosu, Jyotirmayee Nayak and Tanishk Shukla made it to the top 6 finalists of ‘Indian Idol 16’. ‘Indian Idol 16’ ran for about 10 months.
Jyotirmayee Nayak was given a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh. He posted expressing happiness over the victory. He shared a photo with the trophy and wrote in the caption, ‘One year. Countless sacrifices. Constant rehearsal. Today, when I hold the trophy of Indian Idol Season 16 in my hands, my heart is filled with gratitude. This victory is not just mine, it belongs to all those who believed in me when I doubted myself, who voted for me, prayed for me. Inspired me and stood with me in this amazing journey. Singer expressed gratitude to his family, judges and mentors.
