He said that he had given his entire life to make this blockbuster title track, but he did not get the royalty of Rs 8 lakh for this song. Tanishq also said that the meager amount received from the production house was spent on live recording and mixing and in the end he was left with only zero rupees in his hand.

Yash Raj Films rejected the claims

Taking immediate action on this controversy, Yash Raj Films issued an official statement and gave its clarification. The makers clearly said that all payments have already been made as per the contract. He told that this song was composed with the collaboration of three composers Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arsalan Nizami and the royalty of the song has been divided equally among the three. As soon as this statement of the makers came out, Tanishk Bagchi deleted his controversial post from social media.
