It then overtook Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’, which had grossed $977 million (₹8,402 crore) worldwide, and became the highest-grossing biopic of all time. Lionsgate has emerged as one of the companies that benefited most from the film’s success. While many major Hollywood studios decided not to support the project, Lionsgate partnered with Universal Pictures and Kino Films to finance the film.
