While actor Prakash Raj has supported Sonam Wangchuk and the protesting youth, singer Chinmayi Sripada has expressed concern over her health and appealed to her to end her hunger strike.
Prakash Raj reached Jantar Mantar and extended support
Prakash Raj reached Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Saturday, where he was seen with Sonam Wangchuk and the protesting people. He expressed his support towards this movement by sharing some pictures on social media. In the pictures, Prakash Raj was seen talking to and addressing the protesters. He also met with Sonam Wangchuk and spoke in support of the youth.

Chinmayi Sripada expressed concern over Sonam Wangchuk’s health
Singer Chinmayi Sripada also reacted to Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike. While sharing a user’s post on social media, she wrote that she hopes Sonam Wangchuk will end her hunger strike. Chinmayi said that if a system does not care about a person’s life and he loses his life then it will be another big loss. Expressing his concern, he appealed to Sonam Wangchuk to take care of her health.

Sonam Wangchuk called herself an ordinary citizen
Sonam Wangchuk said during his hunger strike that he does not consider himself a great leader or hero. He said that he is just a common citizen who has tried to fulfill his responsibilities. He also said that people call him modern Gandhi or hero, but he does not feel comfortable with these things. According to him, every person should move forward in his life by taking responsibility for himself.
Weight loss during hunger strike
According to reports, Sonam Wangchuk has lost about 7.5 kg of weight during her hunger strike. As per the health update, his blood pressure has also been recorded. He told that on some days he feels more weakness, which is normal during prolonged fasting. At present, there is a continuous discussion going on regarding his health and performance.
