Actor Dulquer Salmaan seems to be in a big trouble at the moment. The Custom Department has interrogated him for 7 hours in the Kochi office in a case related to smuggling of luxury cars. According to reports, he may be called for questioning again to investigate the matter in depth.
What is the connection between Operation Numkhor and Dulquer Salmaan?

Its objective is to bust the racket of luxury vehicles being brought into India illegally through fake documents from countries like Bhutan and Nepal. Officials allege that these vehicles were registered in India under fake names and addresses. In this case, apart from Dulquer Salmaan, the house of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran was also raided, although no suspicious vehicle was found there.

Dulquer’s four expensive cars seized
During the investigation, the Customs Department had seized four luxury cars of Dulquer Salmaan, which include Land Rover Defender, Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol. Even a Nissan car used in his Telugu film ‘Lucky Bhaskar’ was taken into custody. However, after the intervention of the court, Dulkar got his vehicles back by giving a bank guarantee. At present, the department has not made any direct allegations against the actor and the matter is still under investigation.
