Away from TV, Deepika stays connected with people through her vlogs. In this difficult time, her family, husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim are constantly standing with her like a shadow. Recently she arrived for her second immunotherapy infusion session. Recently he gave his health update. Expressed her helplessness regarding her 3 year old son.

He said that in the last one month, Ruhaan has been spending more time with his mother and now he does not want to let her go away from him. During this, Deepika became very emotional and said, ‘Ruhaan has become very emotionally weak in the last one month. He saw the house empty for many days, due to which he started feeling lonely. When we told him that we had to go to the hospital again today, he was not at all ready. This is not the first time that Deepika has expressed concern about her son. Earlier, in a vlog shared in April, she had said that due to illness she is not able to give Ruhaan as much time as before. He had told that due to treatment and constant fatigue, many times he has to rest for the whole day. Even during hospitalization, she remains away from her son, which hurts her the most as a mother. Deepika had then said that illness changes the entire daily routine of a person. The body needs rest and priorities also change. In such a situation, the most difficult thing is not being able to give time to your small child. He said, ‘A lot of things keep going on in my mind. Due to my illness, Shoaib is also stuck alone in many things. Many times I am not able to give time to Ruhaan. On days when I feel very tired, I just keep sleeping. Let us tell you that the last one month has been no less than an ordeal for the Ibrahim family. On one hand, Deepika is undergoing cancer treatment, while on the other hand, Shoaib Ibrahim’s father suddenly suffered brain hemorrhage on 23 May. He remained hospitalized for 37 days. Shoaib said emotionally, ‘We are taking father back home after one month and seven days. Thank God very much that Papa is returning home now.
