Mohit Suri’s statement on not directing ‘Awarapan 2’

Although there is a lot of buzz about ‘Awarapan 2’, one familiar face will not be returning in it. Director Mohit Suri is not directing this sequel. Suri told that he was never approached to direct ‘Awarapan 2’. He told NDTV, “Actually I never got an offer for it, that’s the only thing. I think they wanted to work, but it didn’t happen. I would be ready to work with Emraan right away. The problem with him is that I have done eight films with him. He knows me very well. I have to give him a good role; I can’t make him agree to just any role. But I think it would be more beneficial for me than for him.”
