The second part of the year 2026 is going to be very explosive and historic for Indian cinema. 1. Ramayana Part 1 (Diwali 2026)
At the top of the IMDb list is the mythological epic ‘Ramayana Part 1’ being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari. There is tremendous curiosity among the audience about this film.
Star Cast: Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Mata Sita), Yash (Raavan), Sunny Deol (Hanuman) and Ravi Dubey (Lakshman).

2. Alpha (3 July 2026)
This is the seventh installment of the famous spy universe of Yash Raj Films (YRF). This spy-thriller film directed by Shiv Rawail stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead roles. Earlier, films of this universe like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’ have proved to be blockbusters. Its story is by Uday Chopra, while the screenplay is written by Sridhar Raghavan.

3. Toxic (26 August 2026)
Fans are eagerly waiting for this film of Kannada superstar Yash. ‘Toxic’, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is being shot simultaneously in both Kannada and English languages, which will be dubbed and released in all South Indian languages including Hindi. The film stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in lead roles along with Yash.
4. Dhamaal 4 (10 July 2026)
The fourth installment of Bollywood’s most popular comedy franchise ‘Dhamal 4’ also remains the first choice of the audience. T-Series and Ajay Devgan Films are jointly producing this film under the direction of Indra Kumar. The paltan of old stars along with Ajay Devgan is once again coming to make the audience laugh.
5. Mirzapur: The Movie (4 September 2026)
The famous web series ‘Mirzapur’, which created a stir on the OTT platform, is now coming to create havoc in theaters on the big screen. In ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’, Pankaj Tripathi (Kaalin Bhaiya), Ali Fazal (Guddu Bhaiya), Divyendu Sharma (Munna Bhaiya) and Jitendra Kumar will be seen on the big screen in lead roles.
6. Itha (28 August 2026)
‘Eetha’ starring Shraddha Kapoor is a musical biopic based on the life of famous folk artiste Vithabai. Directed by Laxman Utekar and being produced under the banner of Maddock Films, the film will showcase the story of Vithabai’s struggling journey from 1940 to 1990 and her contribution to the folk performance traditions of Maharashtra.
7. King (24 December 2026)
Siddharth Anand’s film ‘King’, which is going to be released on the occasion of Christmas, is one of the biggest action-entertainer films of the year. The biggest USP of this film is that Shahrukh Khan will be seen in the lead role and his daughter Suhana Khan is going to make her big Bollywood debut with him.
