Meanwhile, Punjab Kings co-owner and actress Preity Zinta is very excited about the mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Preity Zinta said that she was doing digital detox for a few days. Preeti shared a video on Instagram showing the beautiful location of Jeddah. In the caption, he expressed his curiosity about the auction and also sought suggestions from people for a possible auction strategy.

Till then, all recommendations for our new team welcome.” Let’s start it #Ting #IPLAuction2025 #Saddasquad @punjabkingsipl.” Ahead of the much-awaited auction for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, Punjab Kings announced batsmen Prabhsimran Singh (₹4 crore) and Shashank Singh (₹5.5 crore) as their player retentions for the upcoming edition.
 
Prabhsimran has been with Punjab since 2019 and in the last six years the wicketkeeper has scored 756 runs in 34 matches at an average of 22.24 and a strike rate of 146.23 with one century and three fifties. Meanwhile, Shashank emerged as one of the team’s key players last season, scoring 354 runs in 14 matches at an average of 44.25 and a strike rate of 164.65 with two half-centuries. PBKS had finished ninth last season with five wins, nine losses and 10 points.
