Mirzapur The Movie Teaser Out | Kaalin Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya return to the big screen, will be released on this day

The official teaser of the much-awaited film ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyendu was released on social media platforms on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film is an extension of the world of Prime Video’s ‘Mirzapur’ series.The crime-action drama ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ will release in theaters on September 4, 2026 in Hindi and Telugu languages. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment.

 

Sharing the official teaser, the makers wrote, “This September, watch a powerful and untold story. Get ready for ‘Bhaukaal’ on the big screen. Watch #MirzapurTheMovie on 4th September only in theaters in Hindi and Telugu.”

The teaser reveals that ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ takes the audience back to 2018 and its story is set around the same time as the events of the first season of Prime Video’s series ‘Mirzapur’. Since the film’s story takes place before the later events of the series, the character of Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyendu, returns to the screen, despite his death in Season 2.

 

The story also shows Kaleen Bhaiya’s concern about whether his son Munna is capable of carrying forward his legacy. Also, the Pandit brothers played by Ali Fazal and Jitendra Kumar are seen planning their next move as they aim to challenge Munna’s empire and gain power in Mirzapur. The teaser sees the return of many familiar faces from the series as well as newcomers like Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Sonal Chauhan and Sushant Singh.

For information, let us tell you that the crime thriller series ‘Mirzapur’ was first released in 2018, its third season came in 2024 and it became a favorite of the fans. So far three seasons of the show have been released.

Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, the film stars Jeetendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonal Chauhan, Pramod Pathak and Anangsha Biswas in lead roles.
