This romantic-comedy film directed by Homi Adajania has made the record of the fourth biggest opening weekend film of 2026 in Bollywood. ‘Cocktail 2’, produced by Maddock Films and Luv Films, remains the first choice of the audience and is earning more than all the films present in theatres. This film, which opened the account with Rs 13.50 crore, collected Rs 16.25 crore on the second day of its release.
According to the early trend report of Saknilk, on the third day i.e. Sunday, ‘Cocktail 2’ has earned a net of Rs 17.75 crore. With this, its total net collection in India has become Rs 47.50 crore and gross earning has become Rs 57.00 crore. While overseas, the film earned Rs 4.00 crore on the third day, taking its total overseas gross collection to Rs 19.25 crore. In this way its total gross collection worldwide is Rs 76.25 crore.

How much percent of the budget did ‘Cocktail 2’ recover in three days?
The budget of ‘Cocktail 2’ is said to be Rs 150 crore. The film has earned Rs 47.50 crore in three days of its release. In such a situation, till now it has recovered only 31.66 percent of its cost of Rs 150 crore. That means it has not been able to recover even 50 percent of the budget. Now the real test of this film will be on weekdays. If it maintains its pace then it is possible that it will recover its entire cost by the second weekend. It remains to be seen how it will perform at the box office during non-holidays amid the huge crowd of films in theatres.
