Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is all set to release in theaters on June 26. The trailer of the film has received a very good response from the audience and there is a lot of buzz about it. Meanwhile, a big news related to the film has come out. The Censor Board has passed this film with UA 16+ certificate. But before giving it the green signal, the board has instructed the makers to make many major changes in the film.

Censor Board imposed 18 cuts

Just before it hit the theatres, the Censor Board has taken a tough stance on this film. According to reports, not 1, 2 but 18 cuts have been made in the film. The board has ordered many dialogues and visuals of the film to be changed or removed completely. Only after this the film has been approved for release in theatres.

Changes in dialogues and military terms

The mention of Kashmir’s water has been removed from the dialogues of the film, and objectionable words like country’s trash have also been removed. Scissors have also been used on words related to the army; Like instead of ‘Gorkha Regiment’, ‘Are you from the Army?’ Has been done. Additionally, wherever the word ‘General’ was used in the film, it has now been changed to ‘Officer’ or ‘Sir’.

Improvement in comedy scenes and dialogues

Many of the funny and controversial dialogues in the film have been completely changed, such as “Kaala born hua hai, koyla hai” has now been changed to “Sada born hua hai, sample hua hai”. Instead of “Remember the sacrifice, fill your mouth with water” now you will hear “fill the mouth with water for the one who was going to be martyred”. The word “blind” has been changed to “loose”. The dialogue “Izzat le lo” has been replaced with “Yeh aapke saath jaane ko…”. The name “Allauddin” has been used instead of the name “Azruddin”. The word “screwed” has also been removed from two places.

Removed bikini scenes and changed runtime.

Apart from the dialogues, the censor board has also taken a dig at the visuals of the film. An entire 10-second “Na Diya” scene has been removed from the film. Along with this, the bikini scenes of actresses Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez have also been ordered to be removed from the film. After all these 18 cuts and changes, the total runtime of this film is now 164.50 minutes (about 2 hours 44 minutes).

A huge army of actors is going to be seen in this film directed by Ahmed Khan. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. Apart from these, there are some new artists like Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Vindu Dara Singh, Israeli artists. Many veteran actors like Chehre, Urvashi Rautela, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Feroz Khan, Late Pankaj Dheer Ji, Punit Issar, Sudesh Berry, Jeetu Verma, Vrihi Kodwara, Aditya Singh and Bhagya Bhanushali will be seen making the audience laugh.
