Kangana Ranaut’s latest release ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ reached theaters on June 12. It has to compete with many new and a few weeks old films. Directed by Manoj Tapadia, ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ shows the events of 26/11 attacks from the perspective of healthcare workers who risked their lives to save the lives of patients. Kangana has not only played the lead role in this film, but she has also co-produced it under the Manikarnika Films banner. Critics have praised this film a lot. But it is not able to earn at the box office.
- According to the early trend report of industry tracker Saknilk, ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ has earned Rs 1.80 crore (net) on its third day in theaters i.e. Sunday.
- With this its total net earning in India has become Rs 4.25 crore.
- Sunday’s figures show that the film’s earnings have increased. As compared to 1,956 shows on the second day, the number of shows dropped to 1914 on the third day, while the total occupancy was around 21%.

The film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’, set against the backdrop of the horrific 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, shows the courage and spirit of the staff of Mumbai’s Cama Hospital. Inspired by the real-life bravery of nurse Anjali Kulthe and her colleagues, the film tells the story of the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who risked their lives to save the lives of patients, including pregnant women, newborn babies and the seriously ill, amid the terror that engulfed the city. Kangana Ranaut is in the lead role in the film, and along with her, Girija Oak, Smita Tambe and Isha Dey are also in important roles.
‘Will ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ be able to recover the budget?
The cost of Kangana’s film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ is said to be Rs 45 crore. The film has not been able to collect even Rs 5 crores even after three days of its release. In such a situation, it seems impossible for the film to recover even half its budget, let alone its full cost. In this situation, the film is now in danger of flopping.
