Manish Wadhwa, who is playing the role of Bhishma Pitamah in Sony SAB’s new mythological show ‘Hastinapur Ke Veer’, has shared many interesting things about his character. The actor says that as soon as he got the offer of this role, he immediately said yes to it.
According to Manish Wadhwa, Bhishma Pitamah is not just a great warrior of Mahabharata but also a symbol of sacrifice, discipline and duty. He told that this character will be presented from a new perspective in the show, due to which the audience will get to see a side of Bhishma which has been rarely seen before.
The actor said that when he was told about the story of the show and the layers of the characters, he was quite impressed. According to him, this time the story will not be limited only to the events of Mahabharata, but will also show those relationships, decisions and circumstances which later changed history.
Manish Wadhwa also talked about his work in big films like ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathan’. He said that every project teaches him something new and as an artist it is very important to keep learning continuously. The actor believes that good opportunities come only through hard work and God’s grace.

According to him, this is not just entertainment but also a medium to teach life lessons, values and the difference between right and wrong.
