This series is based on the highly popular 2016 novel ‘City of Death’ by well-known writer Abhik Barua. The story of the series is woven around the search for a dangerous and vicious serial killer.
No-Glamour Look: In this series, fans will get to see a completely different and unique look of Karisma Kapoor. Leaving behind her traditional glamorous image, Karisma will this time be seen in the role of a tough police officer.
Personal and professional rust: In the series, his character will not only be seen solving the city’s most dreaded murder case, but will also be seen struggling with the ups and downs and mental stress of his personal life.

The web series ‘Brown’ will be released on OTT platform Zee5. On Thursday, a post was shared announcing the release date, along with a caption that read, ‘The city’s breathing has stopped. The case is hiding its secrets. And somewhere in the darkness, the truth waits.’ Directed by Abhinay Deo, the web series ‘Brown’ will start streaming on Zee5 from June 5, 2026.
