How much did ‘Dhurandhar 2’ earn in India in 55 days?
Even after almost two months of its release in theatres, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is succeeding in attracting the audience towards the theatres. According to the latest data released by SACNILC, the film earned approximately Rs 40 lakh on the 55th day of its release i.e. 8th Tuesday, which is slightly more than the collection of Rs 35 lakh on the 8th Monday. Its strong hold at the box office has made it one of the biggest theatrical successes of recent years. Till now, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has made an impressive net collection of Rs 1143.84 crore in India across all languages. Its total Indian collection has now reached Rs 1368.98 crore.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ is going to create history again worldwide
The film has also performed historically in foreign countries, where it has earned Rs 426.62 crore. With this, its worldwide total collection has now reached Rs 1795.60 crore, taking the film closer to the Rs 1800 crore mark. Once it crosses this figure, this film will create history and will become the second film after Aamir Khan’s Dangal to enter the Rs 1800 crore club.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ ready for OTT release
Dhurandhar 2 is now going to be released on the digital platform. Its OTT release date is 14 May (15 May in other countries). The digital premiere of the film will be on Netflix for international audiences and on JioHotstar in India. According to reports, the film will feature an extended version of “Raw and Undekha”, which includes approximately 3 minutes of extra footage that was reportedly removed during the film’s theatrical release in India. With the OTT premiere approaching, all eyes are now on whether the Ranveer Singh starrer will be able to cross the historic Rs 1800 crore worldwide mark before the end of its theatrical run.
