Speaking to Vicky Lalwani, Junaid said about Gauri, “Gauri is a very lovely and very sweet person. I am really happy for her. I don’t remember exactly when she told the media about this. After all, it is a personal relationship, and it will remain that way.”
Talking about Kiran Rao, he said, “Yes. It was not difficult at all. She is a very sweet, sweet and friendly person. We always got along very well. There was no hesitation or hesitation from our side. I think all the elders in this situation were behaving like adults, so it was very easy for us kids.”

Junaid also told that he calls Gauri by her name only, whereas he used to call Kiran as “Kiran Aunty” for many years. When he was about 15 or 16 years old, Kiran asked him to call her by her name only. He further said that even today the entire family lives within a distance of 100 meters from each other.
Thinking about his parents’ separation, Junaid said that at that time he was too young to fully understand what was happening. “I must have been 7-8 years old, so of course I had no idea. But one more thing, mom and dad have always been on the same page about us. The first time I learned that they could disagree on something was when I was 19.”
The actor further recounted an incident when he was 19, which made him realize that his parents can also disagree on things, just like any other couple.
Junaid told that after an argument between Aamir and Reena, his father asked him his age. To this his mother said that now he has grown up enough to understand that parents cannot always agree on everything. Despite that moment, he said that when it came to children, his parents were always together. Junaid further said that both of them were together in most of the conversations, and this trend continues sometimes even today.
Talking about his separation and the way he raised his children, Junaid said that his parents handled the situation very wisely.
She further stated that “two good people are not always good together,” and felt that it was better to have two happy parents living apart than unhappy parents living together.
Talking about work, Junaid was recently seen in the film ‘Ek Din’ with Sai Pallavi, which was released in theaters on May 1.
According to reports, next time he can be seen with Tamannaah Bhatia in Ekta Kapoor’s production ‘Ragini MMS 3’.
