According to the story narrated by late actor Dharmendra during ‘Indian Idol 13’, Dharmendra was going for shooting in Srinagar with actress Nutan. He had to leave early in the morning and he was in a hurry. During that time he met Shammi Kapoor, who as always welcomed him with great respect.

Dharmendra shared his old memories and said, “At that time Shammi Kapoor asked me, have you had breakfast? To this I replied that I have already had breakfast. But instead of listening to me, he asked me to have breakfast again. I was not able to understand what he was going to feed me.”
Dharmendra further said, “Shammi Kapoor took a glass, broke two eggs in it and then mixed some brandy in it. He gave this mixture to me as breakfast. His style was completely different and he lived life in his own way.”
