Reeva narrated her ordeal
Talking to Hindustan Times, Riva Arora said, ‘This incident happened at around 3:30 pm on April 26. A delivery agent of Blinkit had reached his house with the order, but his attitude was not right from the beginning. Even when I replied, the situation did not improve. My mother Nisha Arora tried to handle the matter peacefully, but the delivery agent continued to misbehave. The matter escalated further when his sister Muskaan Arora met the man in the lift.

He further said, ‘All this started from the door of our house and continued till he left. When he started leaving from there, we followed him downstairs and stopped him from leaving. After this the family immediately called Mumbai Police. The police responded very quickly and immediately reached the spot and took action. The family has also lodged a complaint with Blinkit and are now waiting for a response from the company. Riva says that companies should give training to their delivery agents not only to do the job but also to talk to people properly.

Apart from this, he said, ‘The security staff of his building fully supported the family in this entire matter. It’s just a matter of responsibility and respect. Misbehavior should not be considered trivial and ignored. It is important to raise voice, so that this does not happen to anyone else in future.
