The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a closure report in the alleged suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Actress Riya Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has welcomed the closure report filed by the CBI. During this, he said that the actress has suffered countless troubles without any mistake.
Maneshinde said, ‘The CBI has filed a closure report in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death almost four and a half years later. We are thankful to the CBI that they investigated every aspect of the case from all angles and closed the case. The spread of false story in social media and electronic media was completely inappropriate. Innocent people were harassed in front of media and investigating officers and paraded. I hope this will not happen in any case.
The CBI has filed a closure report in two cases related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The report was submitted to a Mumbai court. In its report, the CBI concluded that no evidence was found to prove any disturbance behind the actor’s death.
The central agency had taken an investigation from the Bihar Police, which initially registered a case of abetment of suicide on the basis of a complaint lodged by the actor’s father KK Singh in Patna. The actor’s father accused Riya and others of abetment, financial fraud and mental harassment for suicide. In response, Riya Chakraborty filed a counter -complaint in Mumbai, alleging that Sushant’s sisters had obtained a fake medical prescription for him.
