Bhooth Bangla BO Collection Day 17: The pairing of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan has wreaked havoc at the box office. The film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ was released in theaters on 17 April and since its release, the film has been a hit in theaters and at the box office. It has been 17 days since its release and till now its magic has not diminished. It is earning handsomely. In such a situation, it has now entered the list of top 5 highest grossing horror comedy films. It has defeated ‘Thama’.
According to Koimoi, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ did a business of Rs 5.75 crore on the 17th day. There was a 25% jump in its earnings on Sunday as compared to the third Saturday. Even in the third weekend, the film maintained its hold at the box office. It collected Rs 4.75 crore on the 15th day, Rs 4.6 crore on the 16th day and Rs 5.75 crore on the 17th day. According to the report of Koimoi, the India net collection of the film has been Rs 159.91 crore in 17 days. After Covid, this has become Akshay Kumar’s third highest grossing film.

‘Bhoot Bangla’ becomes 5th highest grossing horror-comedy film
According to Koimoi, Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has made another new record after its 17th day’s earnings. It has left behind the domestic lifetime collection of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror comedy film ‘Thama’. ‘Thama’ had a collection of Rs 157.05 crore and was the 5th highest grossing horror comedy film. But, it has overtaken it by doing business of Rs 159 crore.

Asrani, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav also add a wonderful touch of comedy to the film. Its story is based on an old bungalow, in which many secrets are hidden and it is Akshay’s ancestral property. Through this film, the pair of directors Priyadarshan and Akshay have made a comeback after almost 14 years.
