After breaking all the records at the Indian box office, Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ is now all set to create a new milestone internationally. The makers have officially announced that this film is now going to hit the theaters in Japan.
On Wednesday, Jio Studios and B62 Studios announced that Dhurandhar will release in theaters in Japan in July 2026. Read on to find out when Dhurandhar is releasing in Japan.
Dhurandhar Japan release date announced
Spy thriller film Dhurandhar will be released in Japan on July 10, 2026. Announcing the Japan release date, the makers also released a new poster which read, “Now it’s Japan’s turn to experience the energy of Dhurandhar! Coming to theaters across Japan on 10.7.2026.”

The makers have also released the Japanese promotional poster for the Indian action thriller film Dhurandhar (2025). The special thing is that this film is being released in Japan with the name ‘Operation Dhurandhar’. However, the film’s marketing prominently features Ranveer Singh (Gully Boy) and Sanjay Dutt (KGF Chapter 2).

Dhurandhar worldwide box office collection
As Japan is emerging as an important market for Indian films, this release is expected to further boost the film’s global earnings and add to its already impressive lifetime box office collection. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has so far collected Rs 1,307.35 crore in India and Rs 299.50 crore overseas.
For those who are not aware, let us tell you that the second part of the film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, was released in theaters on March 19, 2026 and has so far crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark in India. Additionally, it became the third highest-grossing film worldwide, surpassing Pushpa 2: The Rule.
