In such a situation, now Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun starrer film has overtaken SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Baahubali 2’ and it has now become the second highest grossing film of India.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ did wonders on the 39th day
According to the report of Koimoi, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ did amazing business on the 39th day and it defeated ‘Baahubali 2’ worldwide. On the sixth Sunday, the film did an estimated business of Rs 3.4 crores. At the same time, the film made a net collection of Rs 8 crore on the sixth weekend, after which its India net collection increased to Rs 1167.63 crore. The gross collection of the film reached 1377.8 crores.
Not only this, the film also did amazing business at the worldwide box office. The film earned Rs 424 crore overseas. According to Koimoi, if the film’s earnings in India and abroad are added, then its worldwide collection reached Rs 1801.8 crore on the 39th day.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ beats ‘Baahubali 2’
After the sixth Sunday collection on 39th day, Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has become the second highest grossing Indian film. With this, it left behind SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Baahubali 2’, whose gross collection is Rs 1800 crore. This is a big success for the makers. India’s number-1 highest grossing film is Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, whose gross collection is 2059.04 crores. Ranveer Singh starrer film will have to collect Rs 254.24 crore more to beat Aamir Khan’s film.
