Friday brought a celebration for Shahrukh Khan’s fans. Red Chillies Entertainment shared a tear-jerking special teaser of the film on social media and officially announced that ‘King’ will hit the theaters on December 24, 2026. Along with the announcement of the release date, the makers shared an interesting caption that sums up Shahrukh’s reign: “A roar that will shake the entire kingdom. #KING is coming on 24.12.2026. #ItsKINGTime” The teaser and earlier glimpses show Shahrukh Khan in a completely new and ferocious avatar. The gray hair, the action-packed stunts and his powerful dialogue—”Dar nahi, dahanesh hoon”—have spread like wildfire on the Internet.
Directed by ‘Pathan’ fame Siddharth Anand, this film is the big debut of Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan in Bollywood. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on December 24, 2026.
Earlier, the makers had shown a glimpse of the world of ‘King’. In these pictures, Shahrukh was seen in a completely new and powerful avatar, with spectacular views and stylish frames in the background. In the clip, the actor could be seen performing deadly stunts.
Many big actors are involved in this film, including names like Rani Mukherjee, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma.
On the occasion of his birthday in November 2025, SRK had confirmed that he will also have a romantic angle with Deepika Padukone in the film.
