Recently, during an interview, Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh spoke openly about their relationship. Jackie told that he and Rakul are not dependent on each other for their happiness. He said, ‘We are no longer 20-21 years old, we have seen many ups and downs in life. I am a happy person myself. I was not looking for a partner who would fill the void in my life, because if I am sad myself, no one else can make me happy. We both are happy in ourselves and we are even happier when we are together.
Rakul also supported this and said, ‘We do not fill each other’s void. If I want to go on vacation, I can go alone. I think being together in life does not mean being dependent on each other.

Why is it called situationship?
Even though Rakul and Jackie are married, Jackie likes to call it a ‘situationship’. Explaining the reason behind this, he said, ‘Rakul and I are married, which means we are completely dedicated to each other. But the biggest beauty of this relationship is that I can talk to her about anything and we have a deep friendship.
Jackie told that transparency is very important in their relationship. Giving an example, he said, ‘If I get a call from one of my old girlfriends in front of Rakul, I put it on speaker without any hesitation. I don’t hide anything from my wife, and because of this transparency we never feel suffocated.

About Rakul and Jackie’s marriage
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani got married on 21 February 2024 at the ITC Grand South Goa Hotel in Goa. After dating each other for three years, the couple had a beautiful destination wedding. Two different rituals were performed in their wedding, ‘Anand Karaj’ in the afternoon and the wedding as per Sindhi customs in the evening. Only family members and close friends attended this private ceremony.
