Last year in November, Harshvardhan Rane had revealed that he would be playing the lead role in the popular action franchise, which was earlier helmed by John Abraham. Rane had made this announcement by posting a picture of himself at the Trimbakeshwar temple in Maharashtra, in which he was seen worshiping wearing traditional attire.
At that time he had written, “John Abraham has chosen Harshvardhan Rane to lead the ‘Force’ franchise, who will work under his guidance.” Along with this, he also thanked the senior actor for his cooperation and support.

The ‘Force’ franchise started with the 2011 film ‘Force’, which was directed by Nishikant Kamat and produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah. The film was a remake of the Tamil hit film ‘Kaakha Kaakha’, starring Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role alongside John Abraham.
Its sequel, ‘Force 2’, was released in 2016 and was directed by Abhinay Deo. In this film, Abraham reprized his old role, and Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin also joined him in the cast.
Now that the shooting of ‘Force 3’ has officially begun, the franchise is all set to expand its action-packed universe. The film will bring together a new cast and carry forward the legacy of one of Bollywood’s best-known cop-action series.
This journey which started 11 years ago will now reach a new milestone on 19 March 2027. It is discussed that in ‘Force 3’ we will see a tremendous face-off or Guru-disciple jugalbandhi between John Abraham and Harshvardhan Rane. The action of the film is expected to be high-octane and of international level.
