Raghu Ram was born on 15 April 1973 in Delhi. His childhood was spent in an ordinary family. His twin brother Rajeev Laxman also grew up with him. There was a deep bonding between the two brothers, which was visible in their career later on. After completing his studies, Raghu decided to enter the world of media and entertainment.
Did not get any recognition by playing small roles
In the initial phase of his career, he did many small and big works, but was not getting recognition. The real turning point came when he joined the reality show MTV Roadies. The audience liked his strict, angry and outspoken style in this show. He gave a different identity to the show and it became quite popular among the youth.
Wanted to make career in singing
But behind this success there was a big failure hidden. Raghu Ram once wanted to become a singer. He also auditioned in the first season of Indian Idol, but the judges did not like his song and he was rejected. Later Raghu himself admitted that at that time his style was a bit funny, which the judges did not take seriously. This was a big blow for him, but he did not let it become his weakness.

Apart from this, he also worked in shows like MTV Splitsvilla. Apart from TV, Raghu Ram also appeared in films. He was a part of films like Tees Maar Khan and Jhootha Hi Sahi.
