According to a report by Deadline, Millie walked out of the project due to creative differences with the producers. However, neither Netflix nor their representatives have released any official statement regarding his exit. This sports drama is based on the story of famous gymnast Kerri Strug. The film was initially to be directed by Gia Coppola, and Ronnie Sandahl was its writer. Later, Coppola withdrew from the project and was replaced by Cate Shortland.
