Deepika recently took to Instagram to talk about the growing speculations regarding her silence. Putting a stop to this conversation, the actor replied with a reel. In fact, the caption of the Instagram reel read, “Deepika Padukone has just given the ‘silent treatment’ to a Rs 500 crore budget. While Dhurandhar 2 broke global records, Deepika skipped the premiere and attended a sitar concert with her in-laws. No post, no praise, just silence. Is she making a statement against the director or just avoiding the internet’s favorite drama?”
Deepika also suddenly came on the reel and responded to the discussion in the comment section. Putting an end to all speculations, Deepika wrote, “The latter one my friends… PS I saw it before any of you. Now who’s the joke on?”

Immediately after Deepika commented, fans stood behind the actor and the section was flooded with support messages. ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ or ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is the sequel of the year 2025 blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’. This film was released worldwide on 19 March. Apart from Ranveer, it also stars R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera and Arjun Rampal. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this film opened with a gross of Rs 75 crore in paid previews and earned Rs 165 crore on the day of release. Till now, the film has crossed the Rs 1032 crore mark at the domestic box office and has earned more than Rs 1600 crore globally.
