The actress told in an interview to Hotterfly that she had lost her mother shortly after her birth. After that, her father also did not support her. He also talked about adopting a child.
Aarti Singh faced a lot of troubles in her childhood.
In the interview, Aarti Singh said, ‘My mother died at the age of 37. I was born on 5th April and she died on 11th May. I lost my mother within about a month. By the grace of God, her best friend, whom I call mother, took me under her wing. Before my father’s death, she handed over my mother Geeta to me. There was no support from my father in my life. At that time there were small children in the house, Krishna was only one and a half years old and I was born prematurely. There were many ups and downs in my life.
Talking about this, the actress further said, ‘I did not grow up with Krishna for many years, because I lived with the same family that raised me. But I got love and care and had a complete family around me. Looking back, I think it was good for me.’
I am ready to adopt a child
While talking about her husband, Aarti said, ‘When I met my husband for the first time, I spoke to him with complete honesty. I told them that I am 38 years old, I will probably get married by the age of 39 and I am not sure whether I will be able to have a child or not. He just looked at me and said there are so many children in the world who need a home, we can adopt.
Talking about baby planning, Aarti further said, ‘If I am able to conceive naturally then it is very good. Even if not, it doesn’t matter. I am ready to adopt a child. There are many children who need a home. I am an adopted child myself.
