Jennifer Mistry, who gained popularity by playing the role of Mrs. Sodhi in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has recently made a big revelation about Disha Vakani’s return to the show. Jennifer has made it clear in the latest interview that Disha Vakani will not return to the Taarak Mehta show.
It is known that Jennifer herself is no longer seen in Taarak Mehta. He worked in this show for 15 years and said goodbye to it in 2023. After leaving the show, Jennifer had said a lot against Asit Modi. Now in an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Jennifer Mistry has said a lot on the return of Disha Vakani.
Jennifer exposed the makers
Jennifer said, ‘That is a marketing strategy, how will people be kept engaged. How will the hype be created? I am telling you about the time when I was on the show, there was a girl, they used to audition her. She used to come from Delhi. He was blocked for two years for Daya’s role saying that he will do it, he will do it. She also had a mock shoot with us. She is 100 percent Daya. If we don’t see her face in front, no one can say that she is not Daya. But she was 27-28 years old, so that was the issue. She would have looked very small in front of Dilip ji. That’s why she was not brought in the show.
Talking about this, Jennifer Mistry said, Disha is definitely not going to come to the show now, but she was making a comeback in between. This is about the year 2021. Then Disha Vakani was about to start the shoot after a day. She had gone to try the dress etc., but suddenly everything changed and Disha did not come.
The actress further said, ‘Now Disha will not come to the show. That is, their marketing strategy will continue by posting photos. Jennifer further said that there were some limitations from Disha Vakani’s in-laws. They did not want Disha to shoot late at night or for long hours. But the makers did not agree to this at all.
Jennifer said, ‘She and Sonalika Joshi had told Asit Modi that he could go to Disha Vakani’s house and shoot, but he did not agree.’ Jennifer further said, ‘What we have heard is that there were some reservations from her family, like she will not shoot late, will not shoot at night, will not shoot for long hours, so a little bit can be done, but how to do even this much.
