Sameera has recently revealed that she had a problem in her childhood due to which she was often humiliated and people used to make fun of her. But, he never lost courage, took therapy and after many years, his confidence came back again.
Sameera said that she had to take therapy for many years
While talking to Hindustan Times, Sameera talked about her childhood struggle. The actress said that she used to stammer since childhood, due to which people used to harass her a lot. It took several years of therapy to regain confidence.
Sameera further said, ‘Even today I stutter and when someone reacts, I feel very bad. Childhood labels can have such a deep impact. Labels, even if they are normal, silently affect a child’s confidence.
Sameera further said, ‘Repeatedly being called retarded or weak can create doubt in children. In such a situation, they start shying away from making efforts or taking risks in education and socially. If a child is repeatedly called stupid and weak, he starts believing that he is like that. This trust gradually shakes his confidence and after that the child stops even trying.
Sameera said that she tells her children to talk to them. Struggling with any one thing is not their identity. She also tells her children that they should not let anyone down.
