Superstar Mahesh Babu has praised the espionage-thriller film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ directed by Aditya Dhar. This Ranveer Singh starrer film, which is the sequel to ‘Dhurandhar’ released in 2025, is much talked about among the audience. Mahesh Babu has openly praised the film’s direction, music and acting.
The Ranveer Singh starrer film released on Thursday and is the sequel to Dhar’s 2025 film ‘Dhurandhar’. The film also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, reprising their previous roles. Mahesh shared a post on Facebook on Thursday, in which he praised the film and also lauded Madhavan’s acting and composer Shashwat Sachdev.

He said, “‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is an explosive film which has been shot brilliantly. Ranveer’s best character has come out and what a surprise… The way Aditya Dhar has imagined this brilliant film and presented it to the audience with thunderous applause is really commendable.” The actor said, “I would like to make a special mention of Maddy’s (Madhavan) acting and Shashwat Sachdev’s music…. Set in Karachi’s Liari town, the film “Dhurandhar” revolves around intelligence operations in the backdrop of geopolitical and terrorist incidents like the Kandahar plane hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack and the Mumbai attacks on 26 November 2008. Lyari is known for its history of gang wars and violent regional feuds. The film tells the story of Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari’s rise in the Karachi underworld, and also delves into his early background as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
